What is Yobido.com?

Yobido.com presents a completely new way of making excellent deals. We are exclusively auctioning new products that are delivered directly home to the door step of the highest bidder. The start price is always ten pence and the bid step is also fixed to ten pence. This gives you the possibility fo making a great catch!

When do the auctions end?

The auction ends when no more bids have been placed during the last minute of the auction. If a bid is placed with less than 60 seconds remaining on the countdown, the end time is pushed forward by another minute. All to enable everyone to react and to have the chance of a good deal.

When do you deliver the items I have won?

As soon as we have confirmed the payment of the item we ship it to you. Normally you will receive it within a week.

How do I pay the item I have won?

As soon as you are confirmed as the winner you will receive an invoice from us. You then pay directly online under "My Pages" using one of our payment providers, Paypal or ClickandBuy. Your payment is confirmed immediately. 

What costs are there?

To be able to place a bid at Yobido.com you need to register with us for online bidding. The price per bid is from 45p only. Shipping applies to most deliveries.

Why is the countdown sometimes slow?

The countdown is run by a javascript in your browser. If your computer or web brower is under some load the countdown may be slowed down. This means that the accuracy of the remaining auction time may differ. To be sure not to miss the end, either refresh the page to update the counter, or place bids with some seconds to spare. To be on the safe side our tip is to create a Bid agent that takes care of the bidding for you

Are there limitations to the number of auctions I can win?

Yes, to give the possibility to more users winning auctions we have limited the number of auctions each user may win to four per week (counted from Thursday to Wednesday). In addition each user may only win one of each product every three months. 

Bid Agent FAQ

What are Bid Agents?

Bid Agents help you to win auctions without you having to sit in front of the compute. You set a start level and an end level. Between these the Agent will place bids on your behalf. You also have to assign the agent with a number of bids corresponding to how many you think are needed to win the auction. 

How do Bid Agents work?

Your bid agent will remain inactive until only a few seconds remain of the auctio. If the highest bid at that point is within the interval you set and if has bids at its disposal, the agent will place a bid, and the countdown will be reset to 60 seconds. If no one else places a bid after that, you will be the winner of the auction. If more agents are active at the same time they will take turns in the bidding, so it may be a good idea to see how many agents are active before you place yours.

How many agents can I use?

There is no limitation to the number of agents you can use, in different or the same auction. The only limiting factor is the number of bid on your account, as each agent needs bids.

Where do I monitor my Agents?

Under each auction there is a list of your existing bid agents. Also under the section "My Bid Agents" you can see all your agents and their status. You will se if they have started bidding and how many bids they have placed. If the end level has been reached or if it has run out of bids, it will be clearly indicated. You can remove those agents which are inactive. You immediately get all the remaining bids back as you do so. Please note that if an agent is active, i.e. it has started bidding you can not remove it. Not until it gets inactive again.

Why is my Agent bidding so seldom? 

If more agents are active they will take turns in bidding. Wait to activate your agent until there are only two or three agents bidding. That way you are in a good position to place the highest bid as the others stop bidding, and you also minimize the risk of getting a counter bid from the other agents.

Why should I use Bid Agents?

Bid Agents help you go through wiht your tactics even if you can't monitor the auction yourself.  You may start the agent at a level where you suspect the auction to end. To be on the safe side you can set up an agent with a low start level with just a few bids. If it would happen that no one else thinks that the auction will end at such a low level, you are in a good position for a real catch!
